As I enter a new era in my life I must set goals that will keep me focus personally, educationally and help me give back to my community. Upon graduating from high school I hope to attend Arizona State University. My education goal is to apply to the college of nursing and hope to be accepted in the fall of 2012. I would also like to major in Spanish to improve on my Spanish pronunciation and writing skills. My personal goal would be to continue my involvement with Relay for Life, a nonprofit organization that raises money for cancer research, and eventually become the event chair. In five years I hope to have the opportunity to bring my ideas to the plate and continue fighting until we find a cure. My long term goal after graduating from college would be to pursue a nursing career at a local Phoenix hospital and attend medical school.
